Ladies love Jewelry

Necklaces are my favorite!
My arms are too skinny for bracelets, thats why I never wear em'. Rings are hard to find also. I'm a size 4 1/2 in rings, lol. Yea, I have tiny finger.
I don't wear bulky earings. I wear studs.
So that has left me with Necklaces =) I love browsing thru the jewelry section. I did and decided I needed another Key Pendant, a more classy one. I do have a Mickey Mouse Key lol. Anyway, I just got it in the mail this morning. Took almost 3 weeks to get shipped to Germany after I placed the order. Isn't it nice? We definately likey =D

Rainy vacation

Today is the first day of our spring holidays. School is closed for 2 weeks, that means no work for me for 2 weeks. Last day of school was great, the kids were in a good mood, we bought them ice cream and the weather was awsome! I got really excited about wearing all my skirts and dresses for spring BUT it has been raining all weekend and didnt stop today either =(
Stupid weather. Went to the Mall in Ramstein with my mom and sister today. Didnt really buy anything. They had Chinese laundry booties on sale, but unfortunately not my size =( Well I guess that's better, been buying to many shoes lately haha.
So today, you'll get 2 OOTD in 1 post. Last day of school and first day off.

Shirt - F21
Tanktop - Papaya
Leggings - Papaya
Wedges - American Eagle
Apple Necklace - Swarovski
Wristlet - Coach

T-Shirt - F21
Cardigan - Tally Weijl
Jeans - Burlington
and of course my superhero boots haha

So, what is there to do on a rainy day?(besides taking pictures of yourself lol) I have 2 movies I'm going to watch today, The Blind Side and Precious. Can't wait to see both of them, I've heard so many great things about these movies. Probably tearjerkers lol. 99% of the movies I watch make me cry or at least have tears in my eyes. I can't help it, I'm too sensitive lol
Have a great week, with hopefully more sunshine!

Superhero Boots =D

Hey there,

Since I've seen Kim Kardashian wear Over the knee boots and looking super cute in them I wondered if I could ever pull them off.Since fall 09 I've been looking EVERYWHERE for boots that don't say "Hooker" lol. So I finally found these flat over the knee boots and I LOVE them. They look really cute paired with Jeans and don't scream "Hooker" wearing a skirt either =D More like Superhero boots, sounds better than "Hooker".
I think if you wear them right you can pull them off. I don't think the over the knee boots trend is for everyone BUT if your a true fashionista and have a strong personal style...Why not?
So Hooker or not, I dont care. I LOVE my new boots =)

Coming to my OOTD. Spring is finally coming to Germany! Yay! So I got this cute little belted, high waisted skirt. Bought it at New Yorkers. I normally don't buy at NY's because I don't really like their stuff too much plus most of the times their small sizes are too big on me since I am really petite. BUT I laid my eyes on this cute skirt. They had in in purple too, but somehow 34 was too big on me (weird because this skirt I bought is 34 as well)
I like =)

Movie Tuesday -OOTD

My sister and I finally went to the movies to see Alice in Wonderland in 3D. This was my first 3D movie ever and it was pretty cool. At first I was a little sceptical on how they could possibly remake this classic movie but I loved every bit of it. It was crazy, funny and very entertaining. All the special effects made Alice dream come alive. I felt like I was in the movie =)
I highly recommend watching Alice in Wonderland!
Therefore, a picture of my bestie Anika and me last Carneval dressed as Alice and the Queen of hearts =)

Coming to my OOTD. Nothing special, just casual movie day.
Shirt - H&M
Skinny Jeans - Burlington Coat Factory
Brown Suede Shoes - Marshalls
Handbag - Prada
Cam - Samsung TL225 in purple =)

ArtDeco Eyeshadow Primer Review

As promised, here the review for ArtDeco Eyeshadow Base.
I bought it at Douglas (a european beauty retailer). If I'm not mistaken you can buy ArtDeco ONLY in cosmetic stores or online. Since I LOVE ArtDeco eyeshadows I had to try this base. Anyway, I only paid about 6 Euros for the Primer, so I was really curious to see if it really works.
It comes in this really cute jar.

I tried it with "cheaper" Maybelline Eyeshadow and with ArtDeco Eyeshadow. The results are amazing! What do you think?

Would I buy it again?? YES YES YES! Its really amazing for only 6 Euros! And it lasted all day on my eye.
So if you don't know ArtDeco, you should check them out.

Whats my fav hobby?? Shopping of course =D

I like my money right where I can see it - hanging in my closet! =D And well, in the bank too! But anyway, I went shopping yesterday with my brother and his girlfriend. We went to the Mall in Neunkirchen. I've found alot of cute things, but I didnt buy that much because, well I will have to fly back to the states in July and I don't know yet how to bring back all these clothes and shoes. I guess my mom will have to send me a huuuuge package haha.
But back to shopping. I needed some new Mascara and Eye shadow primer. I decided to buy L'Oreal Extra Volume Collagen Mascara in Black. And so far I really like it. It was a bit harder to find some GOOD primer. I've been using L'Oreal DeCrease and its been working great so far, but they don't sell it in Germany and I can't even find it on base. I read some really good reviews on Artdeco Eyeshadow Base. I love their eyeshadows so I decided to buy it. It was only about 6 Euros (8USD). Not bad for Artdeco! I will try it out tomorrow and a little review.
Besides Make Up I also bought DRESSES! I found 2 cute dresses at Tally Weijl. I toTALLY love Tally Weijl and I was happy when they moved the tiny store to a bigger area.
So I bought this little black dress. The leather part in the middle make that dress really catchy. I've been wanting to buy a leather dress for a while, but held back because all leather was just too much for me. But I have to say, this is a right mix. The straps are optional btw and you can remove them. How cute is this?? Maybe CUTE is the wrong word :)

The other dress I bought is really cute too and hey it matches my shoes I bought in Rome haha =)

I also bought this white sequin shirt. It's really shiny, I like it alot =)

And saving the best for last. My lovely new shoes! A new fabulous pair in my collection. Leopard print Peeptoes. Rawwr lol. How cute is the bow??
Love them already!

So my shopping trip was a great success. HIGH FIVE lol
I will follow up with my reviews on Artdeco Primer and some Cellulite Showergel with Massagebrush that I bought. My husband said: "U don't even have cellulite" Well I told him Prevention is better than cure ;)
Have a great week!

I'm back...kinda

It's been a while since I last blogged. ALOT has changed over the last couple months. My husband left for iraq in August 09. Diego & I moved back to Germany for this deployment. I'm working at an elementary school. I'm teaching 2nd grade and it's fun. I love (mostly) all the kids =D Diego loves Germany, him and our 12 year old family dog Billy are new BFFs now. They get along great and its gonna be hard to seperate them.
I'll be heading back to the states in July. That's when my husband will be back from iraq. Yay!
He was home on leave 2 weeks ago and we had a great time. We went to Rome, Italy and it was awsome!! I've already been to Rome many times, but my husband hasn't so we did alot of sightseeing and SHOPPING of course. I bought 2 pairs of Designer shoes in 10 minutes haha =D

My lovely husband actually found those GUESS by Marciano Shoes in a little shoe store on the Via Nazionale.
They retail for 140 Euros(200 USD) and I only paid 25 Euros(35 USD)...How can I resist, right?

Then I also needed or wanted some red open toes and I think I found the perfect ones in the same little shoes store. I don't know the brand but I only paid 20 Euros (28 USD). Those look really cute with Jeans. Love the button in the front.

I could have bought so much more shoes but I was afraid our suitcase would have been to heavy =D Well next time. Italy is definately the best place to buy shoes!
