Almost weekend OOTD

I'm so happy we're down to single digits! 1 more week and I'll be back in Seattle, baby!! I gotta admit, I'm getting a little nervous about the flight....Oh well...It's gonna be okay, it's gonna be okay!
I'm really tired today, maybe its the weather. I walked Diego for 2 hours (because he is gettinh a little chubby here in Germany) I'll just do a quick OOTD and I'll post some more tomorrow. I still have a blog award I received by lovely Leah that I wanna forward to some other lovely ladies =)
Here is what I wore today:

Romber by a german store
Necklace - New Yorker
Shoes - Jumex

Well Ladies, I'm off to bed and I'm pretty sure my husband is gonna call me as soon as I lay down =) He sorta has a feeling for that. Can't believe he will be back home in less than 2 weeks.
Before I forget, another thing that I def wanted to mention, eventho it makes me really really sad is that it has been to years now. Our friend Capt. Greg D'Alessio died in iraq 2 years ago =( I'm still very sad and I still can't believe that he is gone. He made the ultimate sacrifice for his country and for all of us! Thank you so much Greg and I'll see you again in heaven

Oh ehm gee...scroll down for OOTD =D

In about 3 more weeks I'll be back in the States. I'm so excited, because my husband will be done with his 12 months deployment in about 4 weeks! I'm so excited, but I'm also sad. I'm always so depressed when I leave my family. It's gonna be even harder now, because I've been with them for the past 9 months, my niece was born, I've had a job I really loved. Bittersweet. Also, Diego will be staying in Germany a little longer. I didn't want to bring him with me right away, because moving will be too stressful. Another countdown is on...if you're into soccer, you might know the worldcup starts on friday! I'm a huge soccer fan, how couldn't I? I'm italian. I was always so excited about the worldcup, but it has actually changed in the last couple years. The last worldcup was in Germany and Italy won. Dilemma, because I'm an ITALIAN living in Germany. Germany lost against Italy in the semi finals. We celebrated like crazy, proud italians of course, BUT in the end its only sports! I hate how some soccer fans get violent and mean. Can you believe it they threw bottles at us! My mom didn't wanna put an italian flag on the car, because she thought someone would smash a window or something. I mean it got so crazy, people got insulted on a personal level. "F@@# Italians, go bake pizza, that's what you do best" Oh and the best was, I heard so many people say "I WILL NEVER EVER EAT ITALIAN FOOD ANYMORE." What the heck, it's just soccer, c'mon! (Don't get me wrong, alot of nice germans celebrated with us)
That's why this year, I'm not so enthusiastic anymore. I'll just hope it will be over soon. Very sad =(

Ok, I don't wanna bore you. Here is my OOTD (wow, mirror needs cleaned badly!!)

So hot we'll melt your popsicle...OOTD

Sunkissed skin...I can't get Katy Perry's California Girls out of my head. Such a catchy song. Summer feeling, thats why my post title =)
It was hot today, its actually still hot in here. Yes, in Germany it's not common to have air conditioning in houses or offices like in the states (except in cars of course)
BUT, I'm not complaining, I LOVE IT! I hope it's gonna be a loooong summer. Arent you happier when its warm?!?!
As you will notice in my OOTD, I really love this necklace

Top by H&M
Shorts - old, those where long jeans once, I cut them
Shoes by Jumex
Necklace by New Yorker
Ring by Pimkie

My dogs were lazy all day too. My old guy loves being in the shade, Diego on the other hand, he loves laying in the sun. I will walk them later tonight when it has cooled down a little. Midnight Walk ha. U can actually do that here in germany, very safe. I would never walk my dog at night in the US...eventho we lived in a safe area, I dont know...never felt SAFE doing so...Maybe I'm just paranoid.
Closing this post, here are my two babies:

Have a great weekend,

I heart Summer

This feels like summer, now if this would last, that would be awsome. In Germany you never know, so I'm just enjoying this awsome weather day by day!
Today was so busy at work. I'm surprised I found time to take pics ha =)
Anyway, I wanted to, kinda as a celebration for the 21 followers! Whoohoo. I was so excited when I logged on and I wanna thank each one of my followers for reading my blog and also commenting on posts. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Here is my OOTD, excuse my messie room, but I'm packing to go back to the states in 28 days! =) I have to mail a couple clothes back because unfortunately there is a weight limit on flights hehe.

Dress by Tally Weijl
Shoes by Graceland
Necklace by New Yorker
Ring by H&M
still my Turquoise Kitty polish by H&M...that nail polish lasts and doesnt chip! Im impressed!

I love those shoes and I'm so happy I bought them. They are sooooo comfy!

Btw, dont u just love VS Body Mist Spray?! I love that stuff. One of my favorite is the coconut craze...yummy! Talking about summer. Coconut means summer for every italian girl, because thats what they sell on the beaches on italy. Ice cold COCONUT!

I better go now, before my battery dies on me =)

White & Turquoise (OOTD & NOTD)

30 days until I'm back in Seattle =) I'm excited. Other than that, I'm busy working. I'm so tired at night and my brother plays pranks on me in the morning. What a dork, this morning he set my alarm 3 hours earlier than I was supposed to get up! Ugh was I mad, I'm NOT a morning person. I promise, I'll get him back! Coming to my OOTD, trying not to wear that much black anymore. I'll try...
Here it is:

Sequin Top by Pimkie
Leggins by New Yorker
Peep Toes by Guess bought in Rome
Necklace - New Yorker

This is my NOTD, I used the Hello Kitty Nailpolish I bought at H&M the other day in Turquoise Kitty. Love the color!! Matches my ring!

I booked our tickets to Miami last night, I stayed up till 1 am to find the vest deal. I'm excited, eventho our flight back is connecting flight =( ugh. We will fly from Miami to Houston and then to Seattle. But my hubby will be with me, so its all good!

I finally managed to order a photobook with our wedding pictures LOL. We got married again in a church last summer. Originally, we got married in 2007 in a courthouse in Pittsburgh. So I told my husband, I wanna get married in a church in Europe. So we got re-married in my hometown.
The photobook is totally cute, love it!
This is the front, hardcover =)

Shake what your Mama gave ya...

In my case, some shopping bags, because my lovely mom took us shopping today. Monday is her day off and we decided to have a girls day. Remember, my dad went to Italy to take care of some business, my brother was in school, so it was just Mom, my sis, the baby and I. It was fun, we took our time =) I didn't buy "much" tho. I'm going back to the states soon, and I know I'll do major damage there =D
Funny thing is, I didn't find ANYTHING at Tally Weijl....hmm...probably because I already own everything they sell lol. But H&M did not dissapoint.

How cute is this top I got at H&M? 15 bucks only! Love it. Bought the necklace I'm wearing at New Yorkers. I love bows!!
Studs I bought at H&M, I don't really like wearing big earings, I own lots of cute studs tho =)

Then I saw this Hello Kitty Nailpolish at H&M, I absolutely LOVE the color, pretty turquoise, a color that was missing in my collection. Comes in pink also. They had lots of Hello Kitty Make UP Palettes also!

Continuing with turquoise and bows. Bought this gorgeous turquoise ring at H&M! The bow ring is from Pimkie

I can't seem to go to the Mall and NOT buy shoes LOL. I bought some flats, I really needed some open flats for the summer. I didnt find the perfect gladiators for me yet =( I'll have to buy them in the states I guess =)
But found those blue ones for sale at Jumex.

Jumex is awsome, because they give u this cute little cotton shopping bag hehe

Last but not least my mom bought me this dress. It was on sale...but when I went to pay for it, it was even cheaper. I paid less than 10USD for this ha! Bought it at C&A

I'm really tired now and I'm also frustrated dealing with italian bureaucracy. OMG it's the worst let me tell you. I need them to fix something on my passport and do they answer their phone?! of course not! Opening hours 9-12am...I call at 9, the phone rings and rings, at 10 same thing, at 11 I'm on hold till 12 and then they close. I HATE it! I CANNOT WAIT, till I have dual citizenship lol. They didnt even change my last name on my italian passport yet and I've been married for almost 3 years! Ha, thats how it works in italy...I have to be careful to book tickets with my maiden name and then I get to the states and my names dont match. Its driving me insane. Luckily they never gave me problems, but I always carry my marriage certificate with me when i travel on my GC. I HATE italian bureaucracy!
Gosh I'm tired, working the whole week, including SAT & SUN =(
A bientôt,
