I'm back!! Finally!

It took a little longer than I thought it would, but I finally have a little time to resume blogging.
As I previously posted, we moved into our new rental house and its gorgeous!! I can see the water from my front door, backyard and bedroom =) I love the smell of ocean! The house is about 1600 sqf and has a big back yard with a little gardening area. We already planted some stuff. I will post some pictures after I posted some pictures of my shopping spree yesterday =D
What else is new? My husband is on leave now for 3 weeks, we will leave for the Miami on Thursday and go on a cruise on saturday. I'm excited but I'm not looking forward to the flight to Miami and back lol.
I had my job interview for the company I posted about earlier and I got the job as a business correspondent! I will start in September! Life is good =)
I don't wanna bore you guys with more stuff that's why I'll show you pictures of what I bought yesterday at the Southcenter Mall =)
A new dress from H&M which was only 15 USD!!

And new gold shoes from Guess. I didn't even know we had a Guess store at the Mall!! I was so excited when I found out all their shows were 40-50% off and you know what was weird, all the shoes were a size 5! Not kidding. It was my lucky day hehe

oh and some running shoes I bought a couple weeks ago. I've been hitting the gym daily since my hubby came back from iraq just to get in shape for the cruise lol

Weekend Recap OOTD

The sky is still not blue over South Africa...not yet I hope ;)

Anyway, I feel like I have not been on here forever lol.
This weekend I finally went out again, spontanious. Met my friend while walking my dog, agreed to watch the US - UK match together at her house and ended up going to a new bar they opened here.
It's a hookah/shisha bar. Really cozy and cute. They didn't have regular chairs or barstools but cozy little couches...really low, with pillows to sit on. They have a little menu where u can chose between a couple of flavors for your water pipe, we picked Melon and had a couple of cocktails.
I actually don't smoke, I have never smoked a cigarette. But some shisha flavors taste really good =D I just taste it once or twice and I'm done for the night. In the end it's still smoke.

But, it was a fun fun night. It was great going out with my friends again. I have a little less than 3 weeks left here and I'm trying to spend a little more time with my close friends.

Well enought talking, its midnight here and I'm tired =)

In about 3 more weeks I'll be back in the States. I'm so excited, because my husband will be done with his 12 months deployment in about 4 weeks! I'm so excited, but I'm also sad. I'm always so depressed when I leave my family. It's gonna be even harder now, because I've been with them for the past 9 months, my niece was born, I've had a job I really loved. Bittersweet. Also, Diego will be staying in Germany a little longer. I didn't want to bring him with me right away, because moving will be too stressful. Another countdown is on...if you're into soccer, you might know the worldcup starts on friday! I'm a huge soccer fan, how couldn't I? I'm italian. I was always so excited about the worldcup, but it has actually changed in the last couple years. The last worldcup was in Germany and Italy won. Dilemma, because I'm an ITALIAN living in Germany. Germany lost against Italy in the semi finals. We celebrated like crazy, proud italians of course, BUT in the end its only sports! I hate how some soccer fans get violent and mean. Can you believe it they threw bottles at us! My mom didn't wanna put an italian flag on the car, because she thought someone would smash a window or something. I mean it got so crazy, people got insulted on a personal level. "F@@# Italians, go bake pizza, that's what you do best" Oh and the best was, I heard so many people say "I WILL NEVER EVER EAT ITALIAN FOOD ANYMORE." What the heck, it's just soccer, c'mon! (Don't get me wrong, alot of nice germans celebrated with us)
That's why this year, I'm not so enthusiastic anymore. I'll just hope it will be over soon. Very sad =(

Happy Monday OOTD

Today, Im lazy. Its THAT time of the month and I feel like crap! Im always in terrible back pain eventho I take meds =( That sucks!

I absolutely love that diamond ring my husband gave me for our wedding in church. My engagement diamond ring was already stunning but this one is just beautiful! The diamonds are really clear and shiny! I love it, I never wanna take it off =) I get so many compliments on that ring! Good job my love hehe


So, as I said before, I love my new coastal scents palette! I did a neutral eye today, but the colors are really pretty! Unfortunatly, I'm not a pro in taking eye pictures to show off make up lol
But I think, you'll get the idea =D Eventho its just a mirror picture lol

my boy Diego on his beanbag, he loves that thing more than he loves MY bed! I guess thats a great success lol. But that is in deed a really comfy bean bag =)

OOTD and some complains =D

Today was such a beautiful day! I think the temperature reached the 70s whoohoo.
Nonetheless a couple thinks bother me this weekend.

1. Didn't get to talk to my husband that much =(
2. The ticketprices to fly back to WA are craaazy!! They must have lost their mind. 1700 USD for a ticket?? No way will I pay that much! I guess I'm just gonna wait and see if the price goes down.
3. I don't even have a ticket but I'm already so nervous about my flight back. 9h is such a long time and I'm a nervous flyer =( I HATE it. I just can't relax, especially when I fly alone. My last flight to Rome was HORRIBLE!! I'm not exagerating when I say that all the passengers were screaming and panicking (all except my husband that is lol) While landing we had the worst turbulences ever. We flew right into the WORST hurricane in Germany. I thought I was gonna die lol. I just don't know how to relax, I tried EVERYTHING. Watch movies, breathing techniques, sleeping pills, read a book, listen to music...I just can't relax and I can't fall asleep. So I sit there for 9 hours nervously clenching my butt cheeks , my hands are sweaty and I pray time will go by fast =D Yea, its that bad...
4. I hate when PEOPLE aka FRIENDS don't pick up their phone or don't answer my texts! You can't be that busy on a weekend....

My OOTD and some other great stuff =D

This week has actually been pretty good. At work the kids were somewhat tolerable =D and my friends back in the states might found a house for my husband and me (remember I put everything in storage when my husband deployed and I went back to Germany, so we need a house AS SOON AS HE GETS BACK!) It's really hard to find a house by july when I don't get back to the states by july lol. But thank god for friends like Dee & Jon. They have been a big help to us. However, they might found a house just like we wanted it BY THE OCEAN! (We live in WA) I'm so excited, I hope it works out! All that was important to me was a good area and I know old Steilacoom is an great and safe area. Moving to the states I realized you have to be really careful about where you move. We don't have that many "shady" areas in Germany...and I was quite surprised when I moved to the states =)
Another thing that I wanted to say a while ago, I got my first blog comment last week and I'm so excited! That was the first thing I told my husband when I talked to him the other day lol. A BIG thank you to Taylor from Taylor wears Everything. I'm a big fan of her blog, and you should def check it out!
Well, enough small talk lol, coming to my OOTD. Black AGAIN, but I like it =) Excuse my chucks in the background, I wore those to work today, because it's easier to chase 2nd graders with chucks than with heels =D

Kids at school asked me if those are leather pants ha, but no they're satin. I found these at a clearance rack last year. The last pair in my size. I paid 10 or 15 Euros which is about 20 Dollars. Great buy. I love em =)

I love these pumps! The picture doesn't really show it but they are really high. One of the highest I own, but to my surprise they are really comfortable. I wore them couple of times when I went out with the girls (we went dancing) and my feed didn't hurt at all! =D

Going green...(and black)

Spring seems to be wanting to stay here in germany for a while. I think this is the 3rd or 4th day of awsome sunny weather and hopefully the last day of this volcanic ash hanging over us =) I shouldnt really care, because I'm not flying anywhere BUT mail is stuck as well and I'm expecting a package from overseas. I also sent my husband a package to iraq, wonder how long that is gonna be stuck at the post office =(
Coming to my OOTD. I don't know if anyone noticed, but if I'm not wearing jeans most of my outfits are black. The reason for that is, at my job in the states I was requiered to wear black all the time, because according to our manager black looks more professional. So my closet is full of black skirts, pants, dresses =D I actually had to buy a whole new wardrobe when I got the job ha.

I love this necklace. My mom bought it for me this X-Mas.
I actually saw it last year at the swarovski store. They had the Disney theme collection of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs and they showed this necklace, which I loooved because I'm a total Disney fan! I thought it was Snow White's poisoned apple but this necklace is actually called Eve's apple =D
