Christmas came early.

Today we've decided to decorate. Not my house, but my sisters/parents. Since I'm having the baby in my home town and not where we actually live I saw no point in decorating our house since we won't even be there during the holidays. I've actually stayed at my parents house since about 4 weeks because it's closer to the hospital.
Anyway, we've decorated today. I gave my sister all my ornaments since I won't be using any.
She really wanted a white Christmas tree. I'm more a fan of real trees :-) I love the smell. But I think it turned out really well despite the tree being artificial.  The colors go very well with the white tree. So frosty :-)

Diego modeling, he looks so stoked.

Christmas isn't for a while but since my due date is approaching I might as well get things done now.
On top of that I've been feeling down and depressed all day today. Could be because something came up that may ruin out Christmas plans, could be because at 39 weeks pregnant I'm getting a tiny bit impatient now, the anticipation is killing me. I wish I knew when labor starts for me.
I feel hideous and huge :-/ I think my belly doesn't want to stretch anymore. I'm getting stretch marks but you can't actually see them because for some reason they already faded and are pretty much the color of my skin.
Then again, I've never over analyzed my body as much as I did during pregnancy. Could they've always been there? Maybe?!? I'm so looking forward to finally meet my son, not so looking forward to see my post pregnancy belly :-/

So, I'm just not feeling good today. Pregnancy hormones are at a peak and tums are my best friends!!! :-D

Nite, nite from me and D.

Going green...(and black)

Spring seems to be wanting to stay here in germany for a while. I think this is the 3rd or 4th day of awsome sunny weather and hopefully the last day of this volcanic ash hanging over us =) I shouldnt really care, because I'm not flying anywhere BUT mail is stuck as well and I'm expecting a package from overseas. I also sent my husband a package to iraq, wonder how long that is gonna be stuck at the post office =(
Coming to my OOTD. I don't know if anyone noticed, but if I'm not wearing jeans most of my outfits are black. The reason for that is, at my job in the states I was requiered to wear black all the time, because according to our manager black looks more professional. So my closet is full of black skirts, pants, dresses =D I actually had to buy a whole new wardrobe when I got the job ha.
So here I go:
Skirt by Macy's
Shirt by Alley Kat
Tights by Vero Moda
Mary Janes by Ebay
Necklace by Swarovski
Ring by my husband =)

Those are my fav Mary Janes! I love MJ's. They're really classy I think, don't you? :)

I love this necklace. My mom bought it for me this X-Mas.
I actually saw it last year at the swarovski store. They had the Disney theme collection of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs and they showed this necklace, which I loooved because I'm a total Disney fan! I thought it was Snow White's poisoned apple but this necklace is actually called Eve's apple =D

Ending his post with a picture of my two boys chilling outside all day. Yea, Diego is NOT spoiled at all =D

Hope you enjoyed,

Happy Easter

Well, it's Easter and it's raining =( It's that kinda weather where you just wanna stay home, read a book or watch movies. However, one of my close friends from high school gonna be in town (She lives in the Netherlands now), we're gonna go out for a couple of drinks. I thought that's a reason to get a LITTLE dressed up =D
I still didn't have time to go to the hairdresser. I hate my hair right now, it's soooo booooring =D
Hubby wants me to let it grow back but nahh....don't feel like having long hair again. I kinda like the bob! I might change it up with bangs, not sure yet. Hoping to get it cut next week.
So here it goes:
Sequin Top - Papaya
grey skinny jeans - Tally Weijl
Peeptoes - Guess

Have a great sunday!!

Waiting for spring (OOTD)

When I bought my boots I thought I wasnt gonna get to wear them until next fall BUT I was wrong. It's freaking cold again here in good old germany! Yesterday it actually snowed a bit, thats crazy. The weather is one of the reasons why I can't wait to be back in the states =D One day its really warm and the next day its crappy again, yes that's Germany.
Today, I'm not feeling really well. The sun is shining but don't be fooled, it's freezing. I feel like laying in bed all day. Yep gotta love that time of the months lol.
Long story short, this is my outfit of the day:
I put my hair up today because I need a haircut =)

Shirt - gifted
Lace Top - Alley Kat
Pants - Papaya
Belt - Tally Weijl
Boots - not sure what store
Studs - Tally Weijl
Key Pendant Necklace

Last but not least a picture of my baby Diego.
Here he is with his new friend. His new friend is already missing an eye, ear and part of his nose lol
Wonder how much longer its gonna snow in my room ;)

Happy Easter to you all!

First blog -Ode to my 2nd love

I have been thinking about starting blogging again for quite some time now and last night I decided that today will be the day of my first blog after nearly 5 years bloggless.
I am not going to dedicate my blog to just one subject. I can't because I have something to say about almost everything. Since english is not my first language sometimes it's easier to write than to explain it in words ;)
Well...let's see if I can surprise myself and come up with some good posts ;)

Today I will tell you a little bit about the second love of my life. My beagle boy Diego(not named after go diego go lol) :)
He is the smartest little thing and everybody who had the pleasure to meet him will agree with me.
He is just as smart as his mommy ;)
Diego is not only the cutest Beagle ever but he is the sunshine of my everyday. Makes me laugh and impresses me every day.
There is this one thing about him that I find really amusing. He loooooves bones, but he won't eat them right away. He will hide them first and let me tell you he knows how to hide them good ;) I have found numerous bones in my laundry, in my couch, in my bedsheets, under the pillows, in our boots, in my husbands army rucksack, in my purse -yes in my purse-, one bone made it all the way from Seattle to Frankfurt/Germany in my suitcase lol. Yes my dog is a character. How would I have explained that to the officers in case they would have opened my suitcase at the airport...MY DOG PUT IT IN THERE....I SWEAR...yeah right :D
He loves good smelling things like GAIN. He will pick up a gain dryer sheet very gently and plaaace it on the floor and then starts rolling around on it like there is no tomorrow.
After this session he smells like fresh and clean laundry...who doesn't love that? :)

Other than that he is a pretty normal dog :)
I'm so grateful for having that little "Stinker" in my life. He makes my everyday and every night when he cuddles up to me.
I can not imagine living without a dog. There are so many things that make them perfect. Well, they only have one fault really...that they don't get to live that long...
A dog will love you more than he loves himself, he will be there for you whenever you need him, listen to you whenever nobody will listen, wait for you at home and everytime you come back home he will jump up with joy and would tell you how much he missed you while you were gone for 5 minutes lol.

I would suggest....(if your situation allows it) get a dog...go to your shelter and get a dog already.
