Mother's Day OOTD and some yummmm

Happy Mother's Day  to every mom, especially to my mama and my mother in law =)
Did not do much today, lazy sunday. We went to the PX, but that's about it. Weather was ok. I was busy all day looking at houses online, for the hubby and me when we go back to WA. Ugh, it's gonna be so stressfull, I HATE moving. I have all our stuff in storage and I hope Ill find a good house before my husband gets back from iraq. I still don't have a ticket either. I'm looking at tickets every day, the cheapest so far is 1400$! 1400$! holy cow! I hate spending that money on stupid plane tickets, I pray that they will lower the prices a bit. I still have about 8 weeks. And I still didn't even think about when I will take Diego back to WA. I don't know!!!! I hate flying, but evenmore having my dog flown across the globe. 10 hours is a really long time...sometimes I regret that I came back home to Germany for the 12 months deployment....

Well, yesterday I baked a strawberry biscuit roll for my mom. I love baking, but I never made a roll before and I wasn't sure how I'd manage to roll the cake...but it did turn out pretty well, I was yummy. Good job Carla. I rolled it the wrong way, so it was smaller but for the first time, not bad at all. My mom loved it.

Well, fellow bloggers and readers, that's it for today. It's already past midnight and I'm really tired.

Happy Monday OOTD

Today, Im lazy. Its THAT time of the month and I feel like crap! Im always in terrible back pain eventho I take meds =( That sucks!
My OOTD, pretty comfy and casual, spiced up a bit with red shoes =)

Diamond Ring - My Love♥

I absolutely love that diamond ring my husband gave me for our wedding in church. My engagement diamond ring was already stunning but this one is just beautiful! The diamonds are really clear and shiny! I love it, I never wanna take it off =) I get so many compliments on that ring! Good job my love hehe


So, as I said before, I love my new coastal scents palette! I did a neutral eye today, but the colors are really pretty! Unfortunatly, I'm not a pro in taking eye pictures to show off make up lol
But I think, you'll get the idea =D Eventho its just a mirror picture lol

For my eyes I used ArtDeko Base

I took that picture at the end of the day, so I was wearing the make up for at least 6-7 hours already! Lasts pretty long on me!

my boy Diego on his beanbag, he loves that thing more than he loves MY bed! I guess thats a great success lol. But that is in deed a really comfy bean bag =)

OOTN for a night out

My twin cousins from outta town spontaniously decided to come visit, so we went out. I didn't have much time to think of an outfit. I wanted to wear a dress but I would have been too overdressed for the club we went to.
I just noticed that this is my third leopard print outfit in a row =D This time its purple tho.
Normally, this is a dress, but I find it a little too short to go dancing with, so I wore some sort of tights/stockings underneath.

I just wore the jacket on my way to the club ( I was the driver) but left it in the car.
I love this leather jacket. I bought it in february when we went to my favorite city in the world ROME. Bought it in a little fashion boutique called Blue Sand. I was looking for a black leather jacket, but found this cream colored instead. I love shopping in italy =)

It was a fun night and I was excited to see my cousins again. The club was kinda lame or maybe I guess I'm too old =D It was one of those clubs where you don't have to be 18 to get in. Lots of 16 year old kids acting like Biatches, rubbing on each other and thinking its cool =D The music sucked. They played Hip Hop on the main floor and Electro on the second floor (I love electro). I listen to a little hip hop, but last night was garbage, stupid old remixes, the Dj played the same songs all time and little german guys trying to act all gangsta. Yep some of them even wearing grillz and throwing up gang signs =D Like I always say, they have nooo idea what they're doing, but think its cool cuz lil wayne does it =D
You know when you think of Rap and Hip Hop and then you think of that typical cliché...that's exactly what it looked like last night!lol
The electro dance floor was alot better, more grown ups and normal dressed people. It was a fun night tho.
On another note, I used the Coastal Scents Palette last night and OMG the colors are great!! Better than I expected! I did a purple smokey eye and the colors are so pigmented. I might by the shimmery pallete when I get back to the states.

Oh, yes I almost had a heart attack couple hours ago. Somebody left the door open and Diego, my Beagle took of and nobody noticed it!! We noticed after a while that he was gone. OMG I panicked! I called him, looked everywhere, he was nowhere to be found, I drove thru the whole city looking for him. NOTHING. I drove back home and I saw him coming up the street towards my car. I was so relieved when he jumped in my car....gosh Diego...I almost thought I had lost you =(  You know how Beagles are, always following their nose. I could not live without my Diego!

I'm back...kinda

It's been a while since I last blogged. ALOT has changed over the last couple months. My husband left for iraq in August 09. Diego & I moved back to Germany for this deployment. I'm working at an elementary school. I'm teaching 2nd grade and it's fun. I love (mostly) all the kids =D Diego loves Germany, him and our 12 year old family dog Billy are new BFFs now. They get along great and its gonna be hard to seperate them.
I'll be heading back to the states in July. That's when my husband will be back from iraq. Yay!
He was home on leave 2 weeks ago and we had a great time. We went to Rome, Italy and it was awsome!! I've already been to Rome many times, but my husband hasn't so we did alot of sightseeing and SHOPPING of course. I bought 2 pairs of Designer shoes in 10 minutes haha =D

My lovely husband actually found those GUESS by Marciano Shoes in a little shoe store on the Via Nazionale.
They retail for 140 Euros(200 USD) and I only paid 25 Euros(35 USD)...How can I resist, right?





Then I also needed or wanted some red open toes and I think I found the perfect ones in the same little shoes store. I don't know the brand but I only paid 20 Euros (28 USD). Those look really cute with Jeans. Love the button in the front.




I could have bought so much more shoes but I was afraid our suitcase would have been to heavy =D Well next time. Italy is definately the best place to buy shoes!
