I'm SICK of this weather....LITERALLY

I am hardly ever complaining about the weather here in Seattle. I grew up in Germany and I am used to crappy weather :-) BUT this weather is HORRIBLE! It has been raining ALL week. sigh. It's annoying, I want summer :-( or at least sunshine?! A=and to top it off, I am STILL sick. Can't get rid of it.
When will I wear these again? My absolute favorite Steve Madden shoes. I bought them before my Puerto Rico Trip in November. If the weather were nice in Seattle I'd wear them every day :-D

they sell them in black too. I was sooo close to buy them in black as well, but I didn't and now I can't find my size anymore :'(

I saw this on Pinterest a while ago, but I thought it was too difficult to do...until I watched a video on youtube. It is actually very easy! They say to use alcohol, but I don't have any clear alcohol, so I just tried with water and it worked :) What do you think??

Love the soldier....hate the war!

Hello ladies,
Sorry for being absent lately. I'm actually posting this of my phone because I don't have the strength to sit on the computer. Things are not great at the moment. My husband just deployed to Afghanistan. :-( even though this is his 3rd deployment, it still doesn't get easier. I miss him and I will not be able to rest until he is back home safely. Unfortunately, that won't be for almost 1 year. If this wasn't enough to deal with: my dad had a heart attack last week. And I'm thousands of miles away from my family and there is nothing I can do. It's frustrating :-(
Thankfully I have my dog, my busy job and a handful of friends in Seattle that will be there for me whenever I need them.
Sorry I don't have a real post at this time. I will be back posting this weekend, promise.
I'm not sure if any of you are religious, but if you are please keep our troops in your prayers! They need it, the families need it. If you're not religious, please keep them in your thoughts....

Sorry for being MIA this whole week. I had to get a Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) done today and I've been dreading it the whole time. I had so much anxiety this whole week that I couldn't even function properly. I shouldn't have googled the procedure and what people said about it. I've expected the worse.
I got it done at the army hospital in Ft. Lewis. My hubby came with me. We were early and a female soldier was ahead of me. Oh my gosh, she scared the SHHHH out of me. She was in the X-ray room and I heard her cry. I was freaked out. When she came out she looked like a mess. He husband had to hold her and she looked like she just gave birth....I must admit I almost fainted :-/ Then they called me in, explained the whole procedure...Oh my gosh I was scared for nothing. Ok not really NOTHING, it was uncomfortable, but bearable. Really really crampy but it was over quick. I'm so relieved. We had the images right away and I am glad I will hopefully never ever have to do this again.
Since I still feel a little tired from my lack of sleep this whole week, I will only post some little things I bought. I also bought some STEVE MADDEN Booties for 75% off. Will post a photo tomorrow! What a deal.
