Undecided

My husband will be going to iraq pretty soon. I actually wanted to go back to Germany for a year BUT lately I have been thinking if it would be better to just stay here in the US.
Its so stressfull to plan everything, storage for all our stuff, the car, the stupid re-entry permit for the greencard, my dog....
So me and my husband have made a decision, if I can score a GOOD job, and I mean not a dead-end job, I will be staying in WA and we either move into a bigger apartment or buy a house.
Funny thing is, I started applying for new jobs 2 days ago and today I got a call back. I have a job interview on June 8th for a pretty big company (not saying the name yet) that offers me further growth.
I'm very nervous, because this is going to be my very first job interview in english haha. Well actually I already had one but it was stupid. I was in there for maybe 5 minutes, he looked at my resume and offered me a job right away.
This one is gonna be a bit tricky, I know I can do the job, but I have been having the same problem over and over again. OVERQUALIFIED!!! I hate it....I thought completing college and knowing more than 2 languages was a good thing haha :)
Anyway, I hope this one works out in my favor....and my good resume won't haunt me ;)

A special treat...

...after a long and stressful week.
I decided to go to the mall to relax actually lol.
I found a cute dress that I HAD TO HAVE OR ELSE THE WORLD WOULD CRASH haha. The good thing is, compated to Europe, it is really cheap to shop for clothes in the states :)
I got this dress and I LOVE it!
Now, all I need to do is wait for better weather so I can actually wear this dress :) Only god knows when summer is finally going to arrive here in WA.
Since we are planning to fly to Los Angeles next weekend I might be able to wear all those cute dresses I have been buying during the winter months lol.
I did something I have never done in my life! Everybody knows I LOVE shoes, if I'd have the money I would buy 1 pair a day...maybe 2 ;)
So I bought those shoes, and when I went home I didn't like them anymore and returned them 30 minutes after I bought them :) haha
I also finally went to Nordstrom, got my measurements taken(I am impressed with my waist :D) and bought some good bras...a bit pricy but the quality is worth all the money!

Wedding update

As everybody knows our wedding in Church will be on July 11, 2009 Deutschland(Germany) :)
All my guests in Germany should have received their invitation by now.
I will hopefully receive all my english invitation for my guests here in the US in a couple of days. It's getting shipped from Germany, that's why it takes so long.
Anyway, I am so excited.
Planning is in progress. My mother picked out the dinner menu on monday. I believe it will be a 5 or 6 course menu. Italian of course, that does NOT mean Pizza or Spaghetti and Meatballs lol.

I am so excited about it. We have been planning that wedding since 2007 and we finally found time to actually do it!
I will be picking up my gown in about 3 weeks.
Yesterday, I bought a cute wedding cake topper. I love it. I wanted my wedding to be a little disneythemed. Not just because I am totally in love with Disney(especially the old stuff) but because I want to live happily ever after ;)
Well who is more suitable for a Wedding than Mickey and Minnie?They are still going strong ;)
I may be 23 years old, but inside I am still a little girl ;)

First blog -Ode to my 2nd love

I have been thinking about starting blogging again for quite some time now and last night I decided that today will be the day of my first blog after nearly 5 years bloggless.
I am not going to dedicate my blog to just one subject. I can't because I have something to say about almost everything. Since english is not my first language sometimes it's easier to write than to explain it in words ;)
Well...let's see if I can surprise myself and come up with some good posts ;)

Today I will tell you a little bit about the second love of my life. My beagle boy Diego(not named after go diego go lol) :)
He is the smartest little thing and everybody who had the pleasure to meet him will agree with me.
He is just as smart as his mommy ;)
Diego is not only the cutest Beagle ever but he is the sunshine of my everyday. Makes me laugh and impresses me every day.
There is this one thing about him that I find really amusing. He loooooves bones, but he won't eat them right away. He will hide them first and let me tell you he knows how to hide them good ;) I have found numerous bones in my laundry, in my couch, in my bedsheets, under the pillows, in our boots, in my husbands army rucksack, in my purse -yes in my purse-, one bone made it all the way from Seattle to Frankfurt/Germany in my suitcase lol. Yes my dog is a character. How would I have explained that to the officers in case they would have opened my suitcase at the airport...MY DOG PUT IT IN THERE....I SWEAR...yeah right :D
He loves good smelling things like GAIN. He will pick up a gain dryer sheet very gently and plaaace it on the floor and then starts rolling around on it like there is no tomorrow.
After this session he smells like fresh and clean laundry...who doesn't love that? :)

Other than that he is a pretty normal dog :)
I'm so grateful for having that little "Stinker" in my life. He makes my everyday and every night when he cuddles up to me.
I can not imagine living without a dog. There are so many things that make them perfect. Well, they only have one fault really...that they don't get to live that long...
A dog will love you more than he loves himself, he will be there for you whenever you need him, listen to you whenever nobody will listen, wait for you at home and everytime you come back home he will jump up with joy and would tell you how much he missed you while you were gone for 5 minutes lol.

I would suggest....(if your situation allows it) get a dog...go to your shelter and get a dog already.
