4 days till weekend...

I know, it's only Monday. But the past weeks have been dragging. Not sure why, but I have such a hard time getting out of bed in the morning. Hm maybe because I have to get up at 5.30. Either way, weekend cannot come fast enough! Don't you agree??

We took Diego to a Park on the beach on the weekend. Surprisingly it was not raining on Saturday, so here in Seattle we have to take opportunity of each rain free day :) You never know how long it lasts ;)

Little man had a blast. He is so cute :) Too cute for word....

I used reinforcement labels for my tips, I found that they work better than tape.

We also made a bigger purchase this weekend. Traded in our BMW 745i for a 2012 Kia Optima Turbo SX. It took us probably over a year to find a decent replacement for the Beamer. I mean after all it's a luxury car and I had a hard time liking any car after driving the BMW for such a long time. I got spoiled. I was pretty sure I was going for a German car. Last weekend it was between the new VW Passat and the OPTIMA. Hubby and I were really really impressed by the optima. It has exact the same features and more as our luxury BMW. I drove the new car home today and OMG it is so fast. I am not sure if I will miss our Beamer, I am thinking no. I had just reached 100k miles and everything on that car is sooo expensive. Oil change was 200 bucks every time. I am glad we have a brand new car and I won't have a heart attack anymore every time I have to go to a car shop :-D
So here is my old car....bye bye baby. I had some great times, I will miss you but it was time to move on :) Oh my now that I see the pic I wonder what is gonna happen to it :(

Snowy day in Seattle

We finally got some snow here in Seattle. And we got dumped on GOOD. Did not make it to work today. I am crazy for even trying to get to work. (on a normal day my commute is almost 1 hour) It probably would have taken me 3 hours. 

So I was basically lazy all day, enjoyed some quality time with my dog, who absolutely loves dog. I actually took him down to the beach LOL. It was a great opportunity to let him have fun off leash with no one else around.

OPI Swiss Collection

Ladies,

did you have a nice weekend? Mine was pretty good. My husband finally convinced me to go back to the Gym :-D And I have to say it felt good. I hope I can find more time or energy to go more often.
Yesterday we spent a lovely day with some friends in Seattle. We went to a fabulous italian restaurant called "Tutta Bella" Being from Italy I can honestly say that their Pizza is really close to authentic :)

Can you believe it, I am STILL sick! I cannot get rid of this caught! I have been coughing so much, my ABS are sore. Basically I am on my way to get a six pack :-D

I can hear someone snoring, my Diego. He always snores when he is tired. It's too cute :-D He is totally passed out hehe. I love him. How can you not???

Gotta love Seattle

I think this picture says it all :) Shot this morning. Cold but clear blue sky. I love this city! Seattle is always so green and blue. This is probably why I love the color blue :)

It has been really cold in Seattle lately, they are saying we should be getting snow soon. I am skeptic and I LOOOVE winter but I don't need any snow here. Commute is crazy with snow. I am ready for summer :) Well maybe not, I have had my share of summer this winter, after being in Puerto Rico in ♥ (looooove) in November. 

I wish we could go back at least once a month LOL

Feeling Better OOTD

Hey Ladies, 

I am finally feeling A LOT better. My ear infection is almost gone and I finally got some much needed sleep last night without waking up coughing all the time. YES. 

Here is an outfit of the day. I have so many clothes, and I don't even know when to wear them or remember that I even have them. I have 2 closets, so sometimes I just forget that I even have certain pieces. What a shame :D

My OOTD, I have not worn this skirt since summer 2010, thinking I could only wear it in the summer. I was wrong! Lovely with boots :)

Dupe Alert

Hola Chicas, 

I can't believe I am still sick. Instead of getting better it gets worse :( I have a horrible dry cough, my right lymph nodes are swollen, which causes a pain in my ear when I swallow. I am taking antibiotics and I hope I will feel better tomorrow since the weekend is over and I have a TON of work to do in the office :( 

I did a cool NOTD this weekend with a color that I bought in Germany. I am sure all you nail polish fanatics know about the Deborah Lippman polishes. Well I always had my eye on " Across the universe" but didn't want to pay 20 bucks for the bottle. Online I came across some dupes, but I couldn't find any in store. I knew essence has a dupe, but its not available in the US. When I went to Germany I remembered about the dupe and I was hoping it was still in their current collection. AND THERE IT WAS!! One last bottle left. I paid 1,65 Euros (maybe 2 USD)

And the result is pretty amazing :)

Sick, but not too sick for a NOTD

Hey fellow bloggers,

I am back from Germany boo ooh :( We finally landed in Seattle on Tuesday 10pm after being stuck in North Carolina for a day. My DH and I had to be back at work on Tuesday, but that didn't work out so well. LOL.
And now I caught a cold too!1 I feel like poo. I drank about 10 cups of tea at work, I have a terrible dry cough and I almost coughed out my lung at work LOL I hope I will at least get rid of the cough by tomorrow. I must be super annoying to my co-workers.
Either way, I have been too busy to get depressed about being back in the States. Usually, I am super depressed when I leave my family, but I have been caught up in work and I guess that's ok.
I still need to swatch some nail polishes that I bought in Germany.
Here is one of them: ESSENCE IN STYLE. I topped it with ESSIE MATTE OVER YOU.

I love the color. Really pretty. I have got to say, ESSENCE came a long way ever since I moved to the US (4 years) I never used to buy their cosmetics, but i gotta say, I am impressed by their selection and quality. For those who don't know ESSENCE, I think its is kind of like Wet and Wild, just a little bit more selection, but price wise the same. I think I will keep up with the colors on their website and ask my sister to mail me some more polish :D I paid 1.25 Euros for the polish, that is less than 2 bucks. Not bad :D

Well, I can feel the tiredness creeping up on me. Jet Lag, 9 hour time difference :(
