Look what the postman brought!

I'm excited, my Coastal Scents 88 Color Eye Shadow Palette came in the mail today. I had ordered it about 3 weeks ago, but remember the ash cloud slowed down the mail. I was afraid one of the shadows was gonna crack during shipping, but the package was carefully wrapped in bubble wrap, nothing cracked.
The whole palatte is very light-weight and portable.
Thats what it looks like from the outside
The shadows are about dime size and there are so many vibrant colors to chose from!
Most of the colors are matte, but some of them are shimmery. The colors are really pigmented. I have not tried them on my eyes yet, but I just dapped the color my with my fingertip and applied it to my arm. I can't wait to use it, but I'm actually on a "Make up" break. Trying to figure out where that rash on my face is coming from! But I'll probably be trying out the shadows next week, so excited, there are so many colors to chose from!
Here some swatches on my bare arm with no primer

But, the main reason for my excitement about the mailman was, the stroller +carseat for my niece that FINALLY arrived to Germany. I ordered it in the states and because of the size it took forever to get shipped, if I say forever I mean FOREVER! I was so scared it got lost. But luckily it came just in time, the baby is 3 weeks now and the weather is getting better.
I had ordered it as a gift from the hubby and I, but let my sister pick it out, since they only had neutral colors at the PX and my sister wanted a pink one, we had to order it. (And I find all the strollers they have in Germany really BOOORING!) Only the best for my niece.
I think we did a pretty good job, its not too pink, really decent but sooo cute! Its girly, but not over the top.
How cute is the pattern?
Now that we got the stroller, my sister and I can go on a much needed and deserved shopping spree =)
We will probably go to the Mall sometimes next week when its not so crowded. Sucks to get a parking spot on saturdays, its so crowded in there, shopping is not fun anymore. I'd rather go when no one is there =D
Time to indroduce my niece Giuliana Luna. Since I don't have any kids (YET), she's the most beautiful little girl in the world to me =) But she is so darn cute.
She was a little over 1 week old when I took that picture. Her hair is amazing =D Outfit of course by her proud aunt =) Gosh I love her!

Have a GREAT weekend!

some more raawwwr =)

Today, I actually didn't feel like taking pics because I woke up with a stupid rash on my face =( Pretty itchy, it sucks, it's not really that bad, just a little red and feels very warm. Tried to remember if I used new products or something, but not that I can remember. It's just on my cheeks and chin. Hope it won't get worse! Anywhere but the face, how am i gonna cover that up? =D Today at school the kids were great, probably because of the weather. I think the temperature reached the 80s. whoohoo.
My OOTD is a leopard print (again) dress that I ordered on ebay last summer. It came all the way from china and I love it =D

Ignore the TV =D
Dress- ebay
Belt - Tally Weijl
Teddy Bear Necklace - Tally Weijl
Shoes - My sisters =D

This is me wearing the dress last summer right after I got it ha.
I always "model" the clothes when i first get them, eventho I tried them on in the stores. I always do a little dress up and try them with all different shoes and accesories! Who doesn't do that?=D

Ok that's it from me, I just saw my husband coming online on skype. Didn't talk to him all day.
Uh, one more thing, thanks for all the comments and followers! That makes blogging even more fun! =)

Hasta Luego,

I heart leopard print OOTD

This is gonna be a quick post about my OOTD. It's midnight and I'm not really in a good mood. I miss my husband, its our anniversary and I didnt even get to talk to him =( Stupid deployment! He's been gone for almost 10 months now and I CANT WAIT for him to be back in July....2 more months...2 more months.
Here's my OOTD for this "special occasion" lol
Top - New Yorkers
Cardigan - Max Rave
Skinnies - Tally Weijl
Necklace - Claire's
Shoes - Fioni (Payless)

In a previous post I said I don't shop at New Yorkers, but I make exceptions =D found this cute leopard print top at their clearance rack for 6 Euros (8USD). I love it, it has a nice shape and fits perfectly.

Well, that's it for now, trying to get some sleep and hoping Diego will let me fall asleep unlike last night. Diego was snoring like a champ, it was really annoying! =D
Nite nite,

Happy Anniversary, Love

Today, 3 years ago you changed my life for the better.
When I saw you, I knew right then and there that you're the one for me and that I would wanna spend my life with you. I fell in love with you and my feelings have not changed.
You've always been the one I counted on, you're there for me through days, months and years.
We have gone through so much together and survived it all and we will survive this deployment too. I admit, it sucks to be apart on almost every anniversary, birthday, holiday but eventho you're thousands of miles away you're always in my heart.
I love you and I can't wait for you to finally be back home.
Happy Anniversary mi amor
I love you  forever!

You're my endless love!

Wet n Wild Mini haul (NOTD)

Shopping on base I always have to stop by the cosmetic aisle. They always have great deals on make up at the PX/BX.
I could spend hours there..sigh =)
Recently, I've noticed some new Wet n Wild products and absolutely LOVED the colors. They had a sale and I paid 99ct for nailpolish and 1,99 USD for lipstick. The lipsticks were almost all sold out =( I grabbed two.
The lipstick are great for the price, very pigmented and not over-drying! The colors are fresh and vibrant.
"Mauve outta here" is my favorite! It's a barbie pink color. I Love it.
"Think Pink" is a light nude pink color.
                                                          Swatches
I bought 4 nailpolishes for 99cents each, thats unbeatable, so I had to try out a couple of colors. It's a decent polish for the price. It claims "5 days of chip resistant wear" and it kinda is, the color doesn't really chip, but fades at the tips after a couple of days, which is totally ok with me. I love the wide brush, it's really easy to use.
"Through the grapevine" is my favorite, it matches "Mauve outta here" =D It's a deep violet-purple color with a  blue tone. LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!
Red Tape(pretty bright red), Candy-licious (bubble gum pink), Through the Grapevine, Disturiba ( shimmery plum purple)

I'm really liking wet n wild cosmetics more and more =)
Well time for a BBQ tehe

OOTD and some complains =D

Today was such a beautiful day! I think the temperature reached the 70s whoohoo.
Nonetheless a couple thinks bother me this weekend.
  1. Didn't get to talk to my husband that much =(
  2. The ticketprices to fly back to WA are craaazy!! They must have lost their mind. 1700 USD for a ticket?? No way will I pay that much! I guess I'm just gonna wait and see if the price goes down.
  3. I don't even have a ticket but I'm already so nervous about my flight back. 9h is such a long time and I'm a nervous flyer =( I HATE it. I just can't relax, especially when I fly alone. My last flight to Rome was HORRIBLE!! I'm not exagerating when I say that all the passengers were screaming and panicking (all except my husband that is lol) While landing we had the worst turbulences ever. We flew right into the WORST hurricane in Germany. I thought I was gonna die lol. I just don't know how to relax, I tried EVERYTHING. Watch movies, breathing techniques, sleeping pills, read a book, listen to music...I just can't relax and I can't fall asleep. So I sit there for 9 hours nervously clenching my butt cheeks , my hands are sweaty and I pray time will go by fast =D Yea, its that bad...
  4. I hate when PEOPLE aka FRIENDS don't pick up their phone or don't answer my texts! You can't be that busy on a weekend....
Well enough complaining, here is my OOTD
Dress+Belt - Allet Kat
Tights - Marshalls
Wedges - American Eagle
Necklace - Tiffany
Ring - Hubby

(I forgot to take a pic of the shoes!)

     Diego

I love him, he's the best =)

Have a great weekend!

My OOTD and some other great stuff =D

This week has actually been pretty good. At work the kids were somewhat tolerable =D and my friends back in the states might found a house for my husband and me (remember I put everything in storage when my husband deployed and I went back to Germany, so we need a house AS SOON AS HE GETS BACK!) It's really hard to find a house by july when I don't get back to the states by july lol. But thank god for friends like Dee & Jon. They have been a big help to us. However, they might found a house just like we wanted it BY THE OCEAN! (We live in WA) I'm so excited, I hope it works out! All that was important to me was a good area and I know old Steilacoom is an great and safe area. Moving to the states I realized you have to be really careful about where you move. We don't have that many "shady" areas in Germany...and I was quite surprised when I moved to the states =)
Another thing that I wanted to say a while ago, I got my first blog comment last week and I'm so excited! That was the first thing I told my husband when I talked to him the other day lol. A BIG thank you to Taylor from Taylor wears Everything. I'm a big fan of her blog, and you should def check it out!
Well, enough small talk lol, coming to my OOTD. Black AGAIN, but I like it =) Excuse my chucks in the background, I wore those to work today, because it's easier to chase 2nd graders with chucks than with heels =D
No mirror picture today, because it wouldn't show off my fabulous pants!
Enjoy

Tanktop - Alley Kat
Shirt - C&A
Belt- Tally Weijl
Pants - Tally Weijl
Pumps - Jumelles

Kids at school asked me if those are leather pants ha, but no they're satin. I found these at a clearance rack last year. The last pair in my size. I paid 10 or 15 Euros which is about 20 Dollars. Great buy. I love em =)

I love these pumps! The picture doesn't really show it but they are really high. One of the highest I own, but to my surprise they are really comfortable. I wore them couple of times when I went out with the girls (we went dancing) and my feed didn't hurt at all! =D

Well, it's almost midnight, time to say nite nite =)

Going green...(and black)

Spring seems to be wanting to stay here in germany for a while. I think this is the 3rd or 4th day of awsome sunny weather and hopefully the last day of this volcanic ash hanging over us =) I shouldnt really care, because I'm not flying anywhere BUT mail is stuck as well and I'm expecting a package from overseas. I also sent my husband a package to iraq, wonder how long that is gonna be stuck at the post office =(
Coming to my OOTD. I don't know if anyone noticed, but if I'm not wearing jeans most of my outfits are black. The reason for that is, at my job in the states I was requiered to wear black all the time, because according to our manager black looks more professional. So my closet is full of black skirts, pants, dresses =D I actually had to buy a whole new wardrobe when I got the job ha.
So here I go:
Skirt by Macy's
Shirt by Alley Kat
Tights by Vero Moda
Mary Janes by Ebay
Necklace by Swarovski
Ring by my husband =)

Those are my fav Mary Janes! I love MJ's. They're really classy I think, don't you? :)

I love this necklace. My mom bought it for me this X-Mas.
I actually saw it last year at the swarovski store. They had the Disney theme collection of Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs and they showed this necklace, which I loooved because I'm a total Disney fan! I thought it was Snow White's poisoned apple but this necklace is actually called Eve's apple =D

Ending his post with a picture of my two boys chilling outside all day. Yea, Diego is NOT spoiled at all =D

Hope you enjoyed,

1 Day Spring

Hello!
The sun is shining in Germany, eventho a big ash cloud is hanging over Europe, the weather is actually very nice today! I was laying in the sun all day today, we even bbq'ed. Yummy, I love German BBQ!
I'm really exited , yesterday Mehrzad Marashi won DSDS (German Idol). I'm excited because I LOOOVE LOVE his voice, I get goosebumps everytime that guy sings. I hope he will be more succesfull than the previous winners lol. Other than that, Giuliana is keeping us busy, not because she needs attention but because we can't stop looking at her and just go awwwww at how beautiful that little baby is =)
My 3 year anniversary is coming up and like every year, my husband is gone on that day, thank you army! I miss him, can't wait till this deployment is over =(
Coming to my OOTD, spring yeah!! But the forcast says it won't last long =( It's gonna rain again tomorrow. Bummer. Could get used to it.
Excuse my hair, just had it cut and it wont stay the way I want it, yet. Or maybe because I layed outside?? I don't know haha
Dress by Macy's
Shoes by American Eagle ( I LOVE these shoes)
Tiffany Key Pendant

Oh before I forget, did I mention how much I love my husband? Well, I love him so much, he's in iraq right now (thats his second tour actually) and he spend more time in iraq than being with me LOL. However, he still knows how to make me happy and I'm happy when I know he thinks of me =) I got those beautiful flowers couple days ago. When I asked him why, he said no reason just to show me he misses me =) How cute! Oh and he sent flowers to Giuliana Luna as well =) My husband is the best!

Spring Break is over OOTD & FOTD

It's been a couple of days since I last posted something, but I've been so busy visiting my newborn niece and my sister at the hospital. They are keeping her that long because Giuliana is so tiny and release weight in german hospitals is 5 1/2 lbs. The doctor told her probably wednesday. Crossing fingers =)
Other than that, spring break is over and going back to work on wednesday. Weather sucks! Its cold and rainy ugh. Not used to this crappy german weather after living in the states for 2 years.

Welcome to the world, babygirl

Its a girl Pictures, Images and Photos

Today, Ill post about something better than Make-up, clothes, shoes etc.
My sister gave birth to a beautiful little girl last night(April 7) at 12:19am, which is actually my moms birthday as well. So what better present than your first grandchild.
It happened really quick. We we're watching a movie last night till 10:30. She felt ok. starting at 11pm she felt some pain. So we started getting ready to go to the hospital. Once at the hospital it really started, went to the delivery room at midnight and 19 minutes later there she was my first niece =) Proud of my sister, she was a real trooper.
Coming to the baby. She named her Giuliana Luna and she is the cutest little thing!5 lbs 2 oz, 19 inch. Really tiny but as cute as a button. She has a full head of hair and nice eyebrows! I swear her brows look perfecty groomed and shaped haha.
That's why I didn't do an OOTD or anything else today, because I've spend almost all day at the hospital with my sister.
Anyway, Mother and Baby are doing great and I'm sure I'll have many more posts on little Giuliana =)
I can't wait to see how the dogs react to the new addition to the family! Well Diego, I guess you're not the baby at home anymore =D (at least for our last few months in Germany haha)
Oh, btw. We reached the 90 day mark! My husband will be back home in about 90 days whoohooo!
What an emotional day, I'm going to bed now ...
Nite Nite

Grey n' Black n' Bows

It really looks like spring outside today =) Sun is shining, sky is blue and the temperature is nice also.
I didnt have much time to plan a "spring" outfit this morning. I grabbed the first shirt I could find, and it's black haha. I love the buttons on this shirt tho. I wanted to wear a skirt, but my sister is about to pop any day now. I better keep it casual, so I can put on my converse and drive to the hospital =D (yay excited, my first niece!!)
This is my OOTD:
Shirt - Macy's
Skinnies - Tally Weijl
Shoes - Jumelles via Schuhtempel Berlin
Studs - Tally Weijl
